Matteo Ceccarini is an Italian DJ, composer and producer.
In 1993, he launched his career at the age of 21 by performing in famous clubs in Milan and Paris, as well as Bali.
He was then discovered by designer Gianfranco Ferré, who introduced him to the fashion world. Through music that combines ambient, electro, classic contemporary and minimalist influences, he composes pieces for the biggest luxury brands for their fashion shows and parties.
Given his love for Asia, Matteo spent several years living there, and in India in particular in order to soak up the traditional holy music that he uses for his compositions. In the same vein, he composed music in 1997 for ‘Zanskar and Tibet’ – Richard Gere’s personal exhibition of photos of Tibet.
